lyrics

ALIEN STATE OF MIND

Look at me I'm not so very strange
Most of the time you understand me well
and when you don't communication is to blame
because there's three words I can never spell

If you could read between the lines I draw
You'd hear what I said
It's not a crossword that you'll find.
If I could say what I think, I mean,
I thought what I said
I'm in an Alien state of mind.

A play on words can be an act of faith
suspend your disbelief or run away
sleight of hand, a gesture or a sigh
If you'll pretend for a moment so will I

If you could read between the lines I draw
You'd hear what I said
It's not a crossword that you'll find.
If I could say what I think, I mean,
I thought what I said
I'm in an Alien state of mind.
